Chris Oyakhilome Biography - The Man, The Mentor and The Chris Oyakhilome's Teacher

Pastor of faith, faith healer author, and television host, Chris Oyakhilome who is referred to by his followers as Pastor Chris, is the founder and president of LoveWorld Incorporated, also known as Christ Embassy, which is headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria. His unique presentation of God's Word has inspired thousands around the world.

Pastor Chris: The Man
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is a Nigerian Christian, born on December 63 in Edo State. He was raised by his loving parents. He is the elder of three sons born to elder T.E Oyakhilome (one of the founders of Assemblies for God Church in Benin City) and Angelina. Angelina was the matriarch and imprinted her faith in God to her son at an early age.

The LoveWorld ministry encompasses all members of the family. Reverend Ken is his brother and the revered pastor at Christ Embassy's Houston Texas Church. Carissa Sharon chose to follow her father's example of sharing God's Word with all people. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his education at Edo College. Then he was awarded a scholarship to study at Bendel State University, now Ambrose Ali University. There was he obtained an BSc. in Architecture, as well as an honorary Doctor of Science. He also holds an honorary doctorate in divinity from the Benson Idahosa University. He was at Ambrose Ali University when he received his call from God to be a priest and minister to the Lord.

The Man Of God was a student at University when He founded the church that would eventually grow to become one of the largest worldwide. His prayer group, 'Youth For Christ' would eventually become one of the campus' most popular groups. The group would later to create LoveWorld Incorporated and Christ Embassy with millions of followers.

Under Pastor Chris's leadership, LoveWorld became a pioneer of satellite television and Christian programming. LoveWorldSAT is the first Christian TV station that broadcasts from Africa, 24 hours a day, on free-to air networks. Today, there are LoveWorld television stations on satellite and cable networks across the world.

Christ Embassy has strong presences in Pastor Chris’s native Nigeria and also South Africa, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States. The ministry operates two healing schools located in South Africa.
