Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (December 7 63, Nigeria) was born to a faith-based family and loving, dedicated parents. He is the son of the elder of Elder T.E Oyakhilome. Angelina, one of the early pioneers of the Assemblies, of God Church in Benin City, as well as the matriarch of the Oyakhilome clan. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome studied at Edo College before winning a scholarship to pursue a degree in architecture at Bendel State University, known today as Ambrose Ali University, where He earned a BSc in Architecture and an honorary Doctor of Science award. Additionally, he holds an honourary doctorate degree in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was his first university. The Man of God who was still studying at the university, founded what would become one the most important church in the world. A small prayer group named Youth for Christ’ was formed. It would grow to become one of the most admired groups at the university. LoveWorld Incorporated would follow millions through the base of Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Incorporated.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome established the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation Internet (COFI), an international non-profit organisation. Its mission is to help the most vulnerable individuals and communities in certain regions and countries of poverty across the globe.


The Man, God, has created a number of NGOs with the aim to provide vital aid and provide hope. Five partners are part of COFI which works together to raise living standards in the poorest regions.

Under the auspices COFI is the InnerCity Mission (ICM) for children as well as the Volunteer Medical Corps (VMC), Trauma Care International Foundation (TCIF), Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF), as well as the Bible For All Mission. Each of these organizations strives to enhance the health, life and well-being of those most in need.

His charitable organization also provides financial support to children who are in poverty. Pastor Chris believes in strengthening communities by establishing COFI and The InnerCity Mission.
