Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (December 7 63, Nigeria) was born to a faith-based family and loving, devoted parents. He is the oldest of three sons born to Elder T.E Oyakhilome (one of the founding members of the Assemblies for God Church in Benin City) and Angelina. Angelina was the matriarch and imprinted her grace to her son at the age of a child.

The LoveWorld ministry is a family effort. His brother, Reverend Ken is the highly regarded Pastor of Christ Embassy's Houston, Texas Church and an active member of Christ Embassy Central Executive Council as well as his sister, KattyWorghiren, is the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry (LMAM), which is home to several top gospel artists in the world.

Pastor Chris has two daughters, Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon follows in in her father's example of sharing God's Word to the world. In addition, she is known as CSO as a singer, she is an accomplished, award-winning gospel musician and is a member of LoveWorld Music and Arts.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome received his education at Edo College. He then won a scholarship to study architecture at Bendel State University.
