Gamescom 2022 What to Expect and How To Watch

Gamescom 2022 will unveil new information for Minecraft Legends and Sega's Sonic Frontiers and could reveal more details about Modern Warfare 2 and Bethesda's Space RPG that is coming out Starfield. This is the first live Gamescom since the year 2019. However, you can still catch the opening night stream hosted by Geoff Keighley, from the comfort of your own computer. minecraft server hosting Here's how you can stream Gamescom 2022.



Gamescom 2022 kicks off August 23, and if you're in the UK the event starts at 7PM, with those from the US East Coast able to tune in at 2PM, whereas those who are on PT will begin at 11AM.



The most important, confirmed information is the release of more details and possibly additional gameplay footage from Sonic Frontiers. But host Geoff Keighley also confirmed that the Gamescom Opening Show will include "30+ Games" It's possible that some of 2022's biggest games and 2023's will also be teased.



Call of Duty: Vanguard has a new gameplay trailer at the last event, so Modern Warfare 2 seems like an ideal choice for this year - be sure to read our guide to the Modern Warfare 2 beta release date and how to play it. We may also see FIFA 23, God of War: Ragnarok and the new survival horror The Callisto Protocol. Our top three most wanted-for items are Dead Space Resident Evil 4's remake and Starfield. But for now we're only speculating and think about it.



The official Game Awards YouTube channel and Twitch channels will stream the opening ceremony live. Along with the above times, it might be worth tuning in half an hour early, as previous events have included the pre-show, which sometimes, includes announcements and brand new gameplay footage. And of course, if you're considering making the trip to Cologne, Germany, and watching Gamescom in person, you can purchase a ticket from the event's official website. Xbox will have its own stream during Gamescom which is scheduled to stream Minecraft Legends and A Plague Tale : Requiem. You can stream it on any of the Xbox social channels, including YouTube.
