WRUP All DPS Players Are Sharks Edition

It's time for us to reveal an aspect that a lot of MMO players aren't aware of: All DPS players are sharks. You may be wondering why so many DPS seem addicted to the phrase "GOGOGO" because slowing down for even a second means they will end up dying. They must continue killing and swimming. This is what MMOs do to the sharks. Don't think about how a shark is capable of playing or typing the game. Just know that a rogue who will not wait for the tank, the healer, or even the other DPS cannot avoid doing what they do. He is a shark.



One of the Massively staff might be a shark, however I'm not able to confirm or deny it. Perhaps he or she reveals his or his or her status as sharks in this week's WRUP, or perhaps it's just a normal review of our weekend plans as usual. We won't know until you've read the next section. But you can let us know by letting us know what you're doing.



@Beau_Hindman I'm definitely going to play more State of Decay. The game is amazing and easily is one of my top choices for single-player games of the year. For MMORPGs, I'm testing out the limits of Minecraft's MMO-ness I'll be playing the latest patch of DC Universe Online, and I'll also be experiencing some action in Neverwinter which I think is one of the most stunning and sounding MMOs available right now.



@nbrianna: I went back to World of Warcraft with a group of guildies, so I'll be leveling old toons as well as exploring some Pandaria Dungeons I've never explored. It's sure to be fun!



@Eliot_Lefebvre: World of Warcraft is currently occupying my side game slot, and although there are a variety of elements that I'm still not satisfied with, I'm enjoying myself. Beyond that, there's going to be more Final Fantasy XIV questing to do and various endgame shenanigans to participate in, so that'll be my primary focus.



@Sypster - I don't have any big plans for the weekend. I'm currently in the countdown mode of Lord of the Rings Online Helm's Deep. I'll likely try some more scenarios in The Secret World, and perhaps even play some of the World of Warcraft stuff the kids are loving these days.



@mvmatt: My plans for the weekend include soup, schoolwork and, in the event of luck -- some video games. I'll be playing Warhammer Online, to remind myself why it was abandoned and to remember the amazing things that nearly made me stay, before the servers close next month. Alusky's blog In addition, I would love to get back into Guild Wars 2 or The Secret World. I've neglected these games for quite a while. Perhaps it's possible that I'll cap some fools in Battlefield 4.



@MikedotFoster: This weekend I'm exploring the Three Spirits Dota 2 update. I'll also get back in World of Warcraft; that Warlords of Draenor announcement has me excited again.



@MJ_Guthrie - I plan to spend the majority of my gaming time (and there will be some, illness be damned!) Trying to get more done in the war of The Secret World on Filth. I would love that pet and the bee suit so badly, so even though I don't think there is any way in the world I'll get enough tokens, I am going to try! Did I mention I am stubborn? When I'm not at work, I'll be playing couple of scenarios and testing new designs. I will also be spending the weekend trying to decide which race to use for my own Channeler in EverQuest II. It's been narrowed down to Ratonga or Kerra. After that, it will take me just 30 hours to customise the style. The name is only the beginning.



@RichieProcopio – This weekend, I'll be intoxicated. No I'm not attending an event at a frat house; I'll be paying the tower of dreams a visit in Guild Wars 2 and see what Scarlet and her new serpentine friends have been up to in Kessex Hills. Oh, and Hearthstone!
