Pastor of faith, author, and faith healer and TV presenter Chris Oyakhilome (also called Pastor Chris) is the creator of LoveWorld Incorporated. The company, also known as Christ Embassy is based out of Lagos, Nigeria. He has inspired millions of people around the world with his distinctive telling of the Word of God.

Chris: The Pastor Chris"The" Man
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a child of faith, nurtured by a family of faith and supported by his parents. He is the youngest son of Elder T.E Oyakhilome. Angelina, one of the early pioneers of the Assemblies, of God's Church in Benin City, as well as the matriarch of the Oyakhilome family, who instilled her faith in God's grace to her son from the beginning.

His brother Reverend Ken, is the esteemed Pastor of Christ Embassy's Houston, Texas Church and a member of Christ Embassy Central Executive Council as well as his sister, KattyWorghiren, is the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry (LMAM), which houses a variety of world-class gospel artists.

Pastor Chris has two daughters: Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon has chosen the path of her father of spreading the Gospel of God to the world. Also known CSO, she is a gospel singer who has won awards and is a part of LoveWorld Music and Arts.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome studied in Edo College. He then won a scholarship to study architecture at Bendel State University. He has also been awarded an honorary doctorate from Benson Idahosa University in divinity. Ambrose Ali University was the campus where he felt God called him to become an ordained minister to the Lord.

Chris: A Pastor Chris: A Mentor
The Man of God was a student at university started what would eventually become one of the most significant churches in the world. A small prayer group named Youth for Christ’ was established. It would evolve to become one of the most well-known institutions at the university. LoveWorld Incorporated would follow millions of people with the foundation of Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Incorporated.


The LoveWorld ministry was launched under the leadership of Pastor Chris. It's a pioneer in satellite TV, Christian TV production and programming. LOVEWORLDSAT was the first Christian television station to broadcast out of Africa all day long on free-to-air channels. There are currently LoveWorld television stations that are available on satellite and cable networks across the world.

Christ Embassy has a strong presence in Pastor Chris's home country of Nigeria. Two Healing Schools are located in South Africa and Canada. In Canada Pastor Chris holds seasonal sessions that allow miracles to be performed.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, a fervent social entrepreneur and founder of the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation international (COFI), which is a non-profit not-for-profit organization with the mission of helping those who are most vulnerable and communities in the poorest nations and regions around the world.

Alongside preaching the Gospel, the Man of God has also established a number of NGOs with the goals of providing essential services and hope to the poor, needy and forgotten souls. COFI has five partners who have all committed to improving the standard of living in the poorest areas.

COFI supervises the InnerCity Mission, ICM for Children as well as the Volunteer Medical Corps and Trauma International Foundation (TCIF), Future Africa Leaders Foundation , and the Bible For All Mission. Each of these organizations works to improve people's lives and health, well-being, and well-being.
