This Minecraft version is designed to teach a variety of subjects that include STEM subjects, mathematics, and other STEM subjects. Although the Minecraft: Education Edition PC version is available for a period of time, it's never been available on iOS or Android except for a handful of lucky people.

A few significant new features to this version of the beta include a few features that regular Minecraft players may consider to be standard features like an expanded world height, new cave generation options, as well as higher mountains. There are also improvements to multiplayer that make it easier to use by needing less network configuration. It's a bit niche since only teachers or students will likely to use Minecraft: Education Edition, however, it's a good thing for this version of the game to be more accessible to people who don't have computers at home.
