Minecraft: All of Denmark almost recreated

The whole of Denmark has been recreated in the virtual world of Minecraft.

The whole country has been faithfully replicated in the immensely popular style of building blocks by the Danish government.
Danish residents are encouraged to "freely move around in Denmark" and to "find your own residence area to build or tear down."
Over 50 million copies of Minecraft were sold globally.
The title is known as a "sandbox game" and lets players exist in a virtual environment using building blocks to create anything from simple structures to entire worlds.
Minecraft was founded by Markus "Notch" Notch, a Swedish independent developer.
The Danish government said the maps were created to be used as an educational tool and suggested "virtual field excursions" to hard-to-reach parts of the country.
Flat roofs
There are no other goals than survival.
Real-world settings are particularly appealing to many players.
An intern from the UK's Ordnance Survey team created 86,000 sq. miles (2244,000 sq km) of accurate geographical landscapes last year.
The Danish project is more ambitious however, with buildings and towns reproduced with greater detail.
According to the team behind it, the only difference was that the roofs weren't flat.
It also prohibits the use of dynamite as one of the most common tools in the game.
