Minecraft Java Edition 1.19.1

We're now releasing 1.19.1 for Minecraft: Java Edition. This update includes Allay duplication as well as a new Player Safety functionality.



- Added Allay Duplication Tweaked Sculk Catalysts. Chat Trust status New Options for Chat Preview - Updated Player Reporting



Allay



- Allays will dance to the beat of a Record playing in a Jukebox . If the Allay is given an Amethyst Shard while dancing it duplicates. Irc101 Duplication comes with a 5-minute cooldown



Sculk Catalyst



- Sculk Catalysts will now drop 5 XP instead of 20



Chat



- The chat scrollbar was moved to the right



Chat Trust Status



Messages that aren't signed with the Secure Chat system, or were altered by the server will be markedas "Not Secure" - Messages that have Signatures that are invalid or not present are classified as "Not Secure" Messages detected as modified are marked as "Modified"



The indicator's color is always visible. icon is only visible when the chat screen is open



- Modified messages will display the original secure text in the tooltip



Chat Preview



- Chat Preview option "When Sending", which updates chat previews only when you attempt to send an email. To confirm sending an email, you'll have to press the Enter/Return keys twice. - - The "ON" setting was changed to "While typing".



Player Reporting



It is now possible to report a player who is posting abusive messages in the game chat. Reporters are required to select the individual chat messages that contain the objectionable content, as well as the type of report in order to provide the most appropriate information for our team of moderators to take action. This is accessed through the social interactions screen.



Multiple chat messages can be selected for reporting- Additional chat messages related to this selection will be used to give our moderation team more context



- The Report Categories screen includes a "Learn About Reporting" button that links to an informational article

Suspensions & Bans



The game will display a notification screen at the start-up screen if you've been banned from online play- The reason behind the suspension will be displayed and the time it is effective for



Realms



- A message that has been filter through the Java Realms Profanity Filter now has a yellow marker. Players will be notified when a chat message they send has been fully blocked for one of the Realm's receiving players.



Technical



- The chat input box will no longer be applied to fonts that have custom glyphs with negative advances, or glyphs that have advances that exceed 32



Chat Types



Chat types that have been added to the chat_types registry are now only used for chat with players and not for system messages.The game_info and system chat types have been removed



- Chat types no longer support overlays - A system message should instead be used to display overlays



- This chat type parameter is currently used by msg_command_outgoing



Components



The run_command event on text components is not able to support sending chat messages directly. Only commands are accepted. Values are now required to be prefixed with. Commands like /say that produce an encrypted chat message should be used instead.

The order of chat messages are now cryptographically verified. This is used to validate the context of chat messages for Player Reports



Server



enforce-secure-profile is now defaulted to true for dedicated servers - Insecure chat messages logged in the server are prefixed with a [Not Secure] tag - Custom servers can set their own auto-completion options for regular chat via a new network packet - Custom servers can hide player chat messages from display via a new network packet- This does not delete player chat messages from chat logs



Fixed bugs in 1.19.1



More than 50 bugs were fixed in this release. Check out the list of bugs on the issue tracker.



Get the Release



To install the release, open up the Minecraft Launcher and click play! Make sure that your Launcher is set to the "Latest Release" option.
