It is highly unlikely that anyone will give away their Runescape Classic account away, even the friendliest of people. These accounts are fairly rare in the present. The Runescape classic is only accessible to members on a trial basis, or accounts created during the classic time period. However, there is an exception. Members were able to be classic enabled in 2009, which allows members to use the classic version for the rest of their lives. It's a good thing at least for so long as you're a member.
This information is taken from Runescape's site: "Only two types of accounts can play RuneScape Classic: those who played RuneScape Classic at least once from August 3rd 2005 to February 3rd of 2006, and those who played during the open two-week period from 11th November 2009 to 25th November 2009. You must be an active member to have played RuneScape Classic during this period. "
Players who have been enabled for classic won't lose this feature. However, players can only access the Classic Server with membership. If your membership runs out it won't be able to access Runescape Classic until you renew your membership.

This quote is from the Runescape news release in May 2010: "If your membership lapses, you will not be able to login to Classic again until you become a member again. However, your account remains 'classic enabled' regardless of membership expiration, so you won't permanently lose access to Classic if you let your membership expire later and it will be reinstated when you become a member again."
