Minecraft YouTuber Technoblade has passed away following an illness that was stage four cancer. The 23 year old named Alex, had more than 10.8 million followers on his channel.
A touching farewell video was uploaded in which Technoblade's father reads a farewell message from the YouTuber that thanked his fans for their support over the nine years of creating content.
"If I had another hundred years to live, I think I would choose to be Technoblade repeatedly because those were the most joyful years of my life," his message read. "I hope you guys enjoyed my content and that it made some of you laugh. I hope that you go on to live long happy, prosperous, and prosperous lives, because I love you guys. Technoblade is out
The band is known for their secluded nature, Technoblade only revealed his real name in his farewell message, but shared last year that he had been diagnosed with cancer in his right arm. In the video, his father explained that Technoblade passed away just hours after the message was written by him.
His mother also left an unwritten message at the end of the video. "[Technoblade] avoided personal fame and did his best to keep his real identity confidential and we request that you continue to honor his wishes to protect his privacy as well as the privacy of his family," it reads.
"My son's bravery on this path was an inspiring example to all of us who had the privilege to walk it with them." Thank you for sharing his journey through it all and for doing the work he loved for his beloved fans."
