There are many Minecraft maps that represent blocky versions of your favourite games, from Elden Ring to Mario Kart. One of the most impressive recreations we've seen is in the works and it's focused on World of Warcraft - in fact, it's so amazing that Blizzard has praised the project.
YouTuber Yunatahel who makes many World of Warcraft videos, also happens to be recreating Stormwind from the MMO game Minecraft. Stormwind, also known by Stormwing City, the capital of the Stormwind region and the largest human settlement in Azeroth and is also known as Stormwing City. It is named after the sudden squalls that occur around the city due to the pattern of leylines.
Although the Minecraft construction is still in development, the video showcases incredible levels of detail and craftsmanship. Each structure is adorned with a beautiful tiled roof, cobbled walkways seem almost real and the lighting effects give a sense of life to the area. There are a myriad of waterways, shops, and churches abound in the area and we're excited to explore the area.
It's so good that the official Blizzard account for Warcraft in French has complimented it and said that they "can't wait to see the final product."

There's no word on an official release date for the map at this point however we'd highly recommend keeping an eye on Yunatahel's Instagram and YouTube accounts for those who are interested in exploring the area when it's finished. We're also confident that it won't be long before modders are able to add quests, but that's a bit ahead of us.
