Slayer can be Utilized for Attack

Slayer in runescape is one skill that can be utilized by players to help build various combat abilities without thinking about it.

Currently, I am at level 97 and have trained my combat skills by doing many slayer tasks - mostly getting my tasks from the village of Shilo master of slayers, who gives an extensive amount of high-level monster tasks.



Slayer can be used to attack, build strength and hitpoints. However, most players use it to enhance melee-based skills, not mage and range. I currently attempt to complete all my slayer tasks using mage or range as I've already maxed out my melee-based abilities.



A few basic slayer training tricks: 1. If you are able to utilize a gun to finish the job faster however it will cost more long-term. For tasks that require more than 199 monsters, Shilo Village slayer master will assign them. To earn experience you should try to complete one or 2 slayer tasks each day. This will allow you to gain more experience and will help you achieve the 85 slayer. Players who are able to get hold of the black mask are able to make use of this (players must have completed Rum Deal and Cabin Fever to fight cave horrors on Mos Le'Harmless). 5. A set of Guthan Armour can help to complete tasks faster as there is less need to bank for food while tackling some tasks - although only use this when there aren't any special equipment required for the task such as a nosepeg or earmuffs. 6. If you aren't keen to complete the task, you can change it. Many people will switch tasks with iron dragons because they are tedious and are not worth the effort. Although Jagex have limited the number of these monsters available in a task however, it's still a lengthy task. 7. Players can complete all quests that give slayer experience as a reward including, but not only, Back to my Roots gives 23,000 experience, while The Path of Glouphrie gives 20,000 experience. 8. Players who want the quickest tasks completed may prefer to use Edgeville or Canifis because they are more likely to offer decent amounts of monsters that can be finished faster than Shilo or Lost City slayer masters.



The list of slayer tricks isn't comprehensive, but will give some helpful tips to players who wish to raise their slayer level up to at least 85 to be able to fighting Abyssal Demons.
