1. Pemain terdiri dari 3 kelompok yg berasal dari asrama masing-masing
2. Dadu diganti dengan gambar pilihan benda, hewan atau bunga dsb yang di dalamnya terdapat angka untuk memulai permainan.
3. Arena permainan sebagai berikut (liat gambar)
4. Cara permainan sama dengan memainkan ular tangga biasa. Jika menemukan tangga, boleh naik ke nomor pangkal tangga.
5. Jika menemukan ular, makan harus turun ke nomor di ekor ular.
6. Durasi permainan 1 jam.
7. Setiap petak nomor pada arena ular tangga, berisi pertanyaan atau tantangan untuk para pemain yg wajib mereka jawab dan lakukan. Jika mendapat pertanyaan, menjawab adalah perwakilan asrama. Jika mendapat tantangan, maka semua peserta wajib melakukannya.
8. Bila mendapat pertanyaan, wajib dijawab melalui perwakilan. 1 pertanyaan akan diberikan durasi. apabila tidak bisa menjawab atau melewati durasi, maka tidak diperbolehkan maju ke giliran berikutnya sebanyak 1 giliran.
9. Pemenang ditentukan oleh nomor petak terbesar pada arena permainan. Hadiah berupa Hopo untuk asrama dan US untuk siswa.
