Bayrock Group's Journey: from the Suburbs up to Manhattan Tevfik Arif

Bayrock Group, a Tevfik Arif-led luxury real-estate developer company, was able to work swiftly in conjunction with the Trump Organization in Manhattan shortly after it was established.

Talks took place between Bayrock Group and the Trump Organization when the two firms realized that they shared their goals and desires.

The two companies came together to form a partnership where the Trump Organization joined Bayrock Group in its venture in partnership with the Sapir Organization at Spring Street.

The Trump Organization was then run by the former American President Donald Trump.

E. Trump and Son was created by his paternal grandmother Elizabeth Christ Trump and Fred Trump.

In 2017, Donald Trump handed over the control of the company to his children when he was about take over the White House.

Bayrock Group's lucrative deal
The time that the collaboration between the Trump Organization, the Sapir Organization and the Bayrock Group began, the Bayrock Group was still relatively new in New York City's real estate market.

To promote the project on Spring Street, the founder Tevfik Arif came up with an arrangement that would add more brand recognition and prestige to the project.

The proposal would grant the Trump Organization 18% equity in the building, in exchange for Trump's name being used to create the building's name.

The agreement was accepted by the three companies. In 2006, Trump SoHo's first brick was laid.

Two years later Bayrock Group was founded by the Trump Organization and the Sapir Organization and the Trump Organization. They also launched Trump SoHo in New York City.

Design experts take over of Trump SoHo

Bayrock Group, Trump Organization increase the partnership
Trump SoHo was a success immediately and Bayrock Group & the Trump Organization have decided to extend the cooperation.

Their goal was to build structures similar to Trump SoHo in Arizona and Florida in the same manner similar to the one of Trump SoHo. In exchange in exchange for the Trump brand being utilized in their names, they would give the Trump Organization an 18% portion of the building. This is a second time.

Bayrock Group and the Trump Organization had everything ready. But the 2008 financial meltdown which shook the American real-estate market put an end to their plans.

The crisis changed the American housing market sector very extensively. Tevfik Alif, Bayrock Group founder and CEO, decided to quit the United States. He decided that he would move to Europe or Asia, where his career started decades earlier.

While Tevfik Arif is no longer an active part of Bayrock Group, he is still a trusted advisor for different divisions within the business.

Tevfik Arif Bayrock Group has not been involved in any of the recent real estate developments in the United States.

However, the firm was still active and made investments in real estate assets worth more than $22.5 million.
