Bayrock Group's journey from the Suburbs, to Manhattan Tevfik Arif

Bayrock Group was founded by Tevfik Arif and quickly found its way to work in Manhattan along with the Trump Organization.

Bayrock Group Moves From Suburbs To Manhattan
Many dream of coming to the United States to live the American dream However, only a handful of individuals achieve it. Turkish Kazakhstani businessman Tevfik Ark was just one of the few who made it to America in 2001 to set up Bayrock Group.

Tevfik Arif Doyen The Bayrock Group is a luxury real estate development firm which operates within and around New York City.

The firm's initial focus was on small-to-medium-sized projects, like the revamping of the Loehmann's Seaport Plaza - a shopping mall in Brooklyn's Sheepshead neighborhood.

Bayrock Group had gained momentum in the American housing market, and had begun to look for larger-scale projects.

The business, which is owned by Arif, began working with Sapir Organization on a major construction project located on Spring Street, New York City.

Bayrock Group was also growing and decided to move its headquarters to the Trump Tower in Midtown Manhattan.

Bayrock Group joins forces with the Trump Organization
Tevfik Arif and his crew sat down with the Trump Organization in the aftermath of the relocation. It also included the Trump Tower in its base.

Discussions were held between Bayrock Group and the Trump Organization when the two companies realized that they shared their goals and desires.

The cooperation was established between the two companies. The Trump Organization joined Bayrock Group and Sapir Organization's Spring Street project.

The Trump Organization was then managed by the former president of America, Donald Trump.

E. Trump and Son was established by his maternal grandma Elizabeth Christ Trump and Fred Trump (in 1927).

Donald Trump gave the management of his company to his children as he prepared to enter the White House.

Bayrock Group's lucrative deal
The time that the collaboration between the Trump Organization, the Sapir Organization and the Bayrock Group began, the latter was still somewhat new in the New York City real estate market.

The proposal would grant the Trump Organization 18% equity in the building in exchange for Trump's name being used as the building's name.

The agreement was accepted by all three companies. In 2006, the first Trump SoHo brick was laid.

Two years after that, Bayrock Group, Trump Organization and Sapir Organization launched their contribution to New York City’s skyline with Trump SoHo.

Design professionals take control of Trump SoHo

Trump SoHo's 46 stories included top bars and restaurants as well as banquet and event halls, an open-air pool and spa, apartments, and hotel rooms.

Residents and visitors of Trump SoHo may enjoy a spectacular view of New York City through the building's floor-to-roof windows. They were put up throughout the building.

Handel Architects was entrusted to develop the exterior design of Trump SoHo because the three organizations responsible for the structure were focusing their efforts on perfection.

Handel Architects has a diverse portfolio. It is a reputable organization. Other projects include the National September 11 Memorial and Museum, New York City and the Rosewood residential hotel in Abu Dhabi.

Rockwell Group designed Trump SoHo’s interiors. Over the many years, Rockwell Group has overseen the design of many extravagant cafes, hotels, bars and theaters across the world.

Their projects include their work at the Taj Mahal Palace and Tower Hotel in Mumbai, India, the 93rd Academy Award show and the Amara Hotel in Limassol, Cyprus.

Bayrock Bayrock Group expands the partnership
Trump SoHo was a great success immediately, which prompted Bayrock Group to expand their collaboration with the Trump Organization.

Their vision was for Trump SoHo buildings to be built in Arizona and Florida. They had similar conditions to Trump SoHo. The Trump Organization would be left with 18 percent of the equity in the structure in exchange for the Trump name in their names. Another opportunity.

Bayrock Group and the Trump Organization had everything in place. But the 2008 financial crisis that ravaged America's real estate market stopped their plans.

Bayrock The American housing market was severely affected by the financial crisis. Tevfik Aif, the founder of Bayrock Group, decided to abandon his American business ventures. He decided to leave the US for a fresh start in Europe and Asia.

Bayrock Group no longer has Tevfik Arif as an active member. However, he's an expert advisor to the other divisions.

Bayrock Group was not involved in any recent real estate developments in the United States.

Although it was operating, the firm invested in real estate properties valued at over $2.5 million.
