How To Play Omaha Hi Lo Poker
The small blind equals half of the big blind. The limit you play at determines the blind amount. In Texas Holdem, the blinds replace antes. This allows the eight other players to simply fold their cards at no cost.

Hi/Lo is another version of Omaha poker. In this version, a player can also win with a "lo/low" hand by holding complete garbage, with cards no higher than 8. A player holding cards A, 2, 3, 4 or 6 would have a lo hand, and thus win the pot. If another player held the high hand, such as two pairs, the pot would be split.

Texas Hold'em -- a poker variant with a story that's as rich as Spaghetti western -- is something of a legend. This variant of poker, which is both a drawing game and a betting card poker game, was created by Texas poker sharks. This poker variant is the most popular right now and brings more people to card gaming than any other.

After the blinds are paid, each person is dealt four cards face down from the dealer. These cards are called a player's pocket or hole cards and must be kept secret from other players. Each player must use just two of these cards to create their final 5-card Poker hand. Players can choose whichever two of their four pocket cards to use, combining them with three of the five community cards to make their hand.
