The phrase tui-na (meaning "pierce through") is a reference to a range of Chinese therapeutic massage and posture exercise. Tui na is a technique for treating specific patterns and imbalances that occur within the body. It's also known as the "four-limb technique of acupuncture" method, as it relies on the application of pressure to four different parts of the limbs - both legs and arms. Therapists use their hands, fingers, and thumbs to exert pressure directly on the legs. The technique was initially developed in China and later popularized by Western practitioners and doctors who recognized its value in treating a range of ailments.
Traditional Chinese medicine has always believed in the body as capable of healing itself, and usually goes to extraordinary extents to help encourage the body to heal itself. This is the reason TCM (Traditional Chinese Medical) practices are so effective in the treatment of injury and pain as well as the avoidance of sickness and diseases. This is because the traditional Chinese treatments view the body as having an energetic centre or "Qi" which is always in a state of repair and in a state of imbalance. In a state of imbalance, energy can result in illness as well as various other issues.
Taner Yachian created a method that boosts Qi and blood circulation to organs. This enables them to heal themselves and lessen suffering. His ideas were based on clinical trials with randomised control carried out on animals concluding that the treated animals displayed less pain and less trauma than those that were unin treatment. Then, following this revelation and his subsequent research, he started to study the effects by applying pressure to different parts of the body. The results were astounding. The doctor began to teach Tui Na to patients at his medical clinic in the hope of making Tui Na more easily accessible to them.
Tui Na can be used for treating a variety of conditions. Tui Na is used to treat a multitude of Chinese massages, which comprise basic back and neck massages, in addition to full cervical treatment. The most common use is for cervical radiography. Cervical radiography is a leading factor in low back pain, as well as lack mobility in older adults. Many chiropractors who practice with Tui Na and other forms of traditional Chinese medical believe that this technique can help patients suffering from degenerative spinal disorders, including cervical radiculopathy.
출장 In the US the United States, randomised controlled trials do not provide sufficient evidence that Chinese massage therapy is efficient for treating back pain, or chronic spinal conditions. Additional studies are required to confirm the benefits of Tui Na in treating chronic ailments. According to one study, Chinese massage therapy did show an improvement in the neck of patients suffering from stiffness or radiculopathy , but these results weren't consistent across studies. Another study, however, revealed that Chinese massage therapy is helpful for osteoarthritis and degenerative bone conditions. Both trials showed a decrease in hip joint movement and reduced painful. The findings were encouraging however it is unclear whether these gains are due to elements of Chinese treatment, or if Chinese massage therapy itself is more effective in addressing certain pain points and/or tissues injuries that are not as effective in alternative forms of massage.
Of equal interest is how Tui Na and Acupuncture on the root causes of deafness and ear dysfunction. It's not clear if using Tui Na is helpful to treat deafness brought on from hearing loss or damage. In one study, it was found Chinese herbal remedies could help patients who suffer due to cochlear damages caused by hearing loss. In a placebo-controlled trial, Chinese herbal medicines were found to be effective in the treatment of people suffering from mild hearing loss caused by inner ear involvement.
There have been studies conducted about the influence of Tui Na in the treatment of menstrual issues, and related problems such as breast cancer and menopausal pain. This research has shown that women with menstrual problems had a higher incidence of receiving Tui Na massage (see Tui Na massage). Another study revealed that Chinese herbal remedies are extremely effective to treat hot flashes among postmenopausal women. For this specific group of women Chinese herbs such as Ligusticum and Milk Thistle had positive effects on the severity of hot flashes. The effects of Chinese massage on breast cancer and breast fibroids is unclear.
Certain Chinese herbs are not used to make Tui Na, or any other products for healing like Qi Gong. Acupuncture for Tui Na is believed to be more effective in situations where the patient has an allergy to Ligusticum. Chinese herbal medicine can prove beneficial and secure provided they are administered according to the dosage. Some patients need to be sure to consult with their medical doctor prior to beginning any type treatment involving acupuncture. People with heart and orthopedic conditions are also eligible.
