As discussed yesterday, attached is a copy of the quote from Adapt-A-Ramp for the purchase and delivery of a ramp to cross over the trench boxes at Bottom Brook. We currently have one section of our converter yard at Bottom Brook which is surrounded by non-trafficable trench boxes. What this means is anytime we need get a lift in this area to do any repairs or inspection work (annual outage) we have to construct a wooden crossing out of rig matts. This is a temporary solution which gets us out of a bind, but we are looking for a more permanent solution.

Initially we were looking locally to get the ramps constructed by Western Steel in Corner Brook and had engineering drawing completed. The construction price came in higher than Adapt-A-Ramp and this was with ENL providing the beams for the ramps from our stockpile of leftover steel from construction, plus we would be responsible for delivery of the steel and picking up the ramps and delivering to site. Western Steel also advised that the steel grating that was recommended by the engineer was not available and they could not give us an estimated time they could expect to procure the grating.

I contacted Adapt-A-Ramp yesterday and they confirmed the original quote from April 4th is still valid.

Would appreciate if you could facilitate the creation of the contract strategy and vendor setup (new vendor for ENL) so we could provide the PO to get in the queue for getting the ramp constructed. Current estimated delivery time is October 2022 if we book our production slot soon.
