Burgener together with his group, have reacted to settle the ownership dispute. Degen is seeking to use his right of first refusal to 16.4 million Francs. Bernhard Burgener With a super-provisional injunction, the former player has thus as of now prevented Burgener from allowed to sell his 80 percent stake to Basel Dream & Vision AG. The British asset manager Centricus could also own an investment in the new entity. Bernhard Burgener Burgener will still hold the majority of the votes.
According to FC Basel Holding AG announcement, Burgener is quickly seeking an out of court settlement "in the interest of FCB".
