Ninja Cafe | Training Guide

Host, Co-Host, and Trainers must use this guide for training. Before starting a training please make sure it’s one of the training schedules.



Positions‌ ‌at‌ ‌Trainings

-Ninja Leaders may be assistants
- Supervisors+ may be trainers
- HR+ may be promoters
- Ninja Leaders+ may spectate
- Assistant Manager+ may Co-Host
- Manager+ may host
- SHR may spectate




Before the session:

Before starting a training, the host and Co-Host should be an Assistant Manager or above. Make sure all trainees are seated and remove anyone who is trolling or exploiting. A junior barista or ninja barista can attend a training to be trained to the next rank, for an Intern does not apply. If a customer does happen to come onto the session please tell them that the session is only for the trainee ranks. After all of that is settled when the time is up to start the sessions please :slock the server. By doing :slock

Once done you may proceed.



Beginning the session:

Now it’s time to get started.
Please keep in mind that only the host and co-host can give out positions.


Copy and paste these but change the (Your Name) and (Their name).

:m Greetings! Welcome to my training session. I am your host (Your Name) and my wonderful co-host (Their Name).

:m We are also followed by our wonderful trainer(s)! I would like to thank our helpers for coming out today for the training session.

:m Before we begin, we will be going over some rules in order for you to succeed.

:m Rule 1 - Always be respectful to everybody. If you start to troll you will be kicked, and that would count as a failure.

:m Rule 2 - Always use grammar. When using grammar the more you will get a chance of getting promoted at the Cafe.

:m Rule 3 - Always be active. Showing us that you're active means you're addicted.

:m Rule 4 - If you need to go AFK please notify one of our MR’s that you need to go AFK. You will only have a 2 minute max limit.

:m Rule 5 - Copying and pasting answers is strictly prohibited. This will lead to a demotion and a ban from our games if caught.

:m Rule 6 - Trainee’s will get ||| strikes, Junior Baristas will only have || strikes, lastly Ninja Baristas will only have | strike.


:m Rule 7 - If you fail please don’t feel discouraged, We do trainings daily and you can always try again.

:m That's all the rules, if you have any questions now would be a good time to ask. Please say PTS if you have a question.

Put a countdown to 120 seconds. Assistant’s and trainers may answer questions.

After, Trainers and Assistants must go to their stations while the host continues the next steps.

:m We will now begin the training session. We wish you the best of luck!

Host, Co-host, you may spectate other groups and when you get a pm from a group you must go to them and rank their group.



Trainers:
If you are a trainer, please copy and paste below.

Welcome fellow trainee(s)! Today me and a couple of trainer(s) will be teaching you how to work as a Barista properly.

I will now be stating some information for you to succeed, you may take notes if you like.

I will NOT be mentioning anything that the host has said as if you had taken notes.

As a Barista it is your JOB to help serve customers, meet new people, and learn new skills.

All staff are required to use grammar, be professional, put on your uniform, and lastly be active.

We will now begin our first test. We will be doing the greeting test. You’ll be stating your greeting when my partner comes up to you.

An example of a greeting is: Hello! Welcome to Ninja Cafe, my name is (your name). How may I help you today?

You may use your own greeting if you like as an example.

Now, you may begin to type your greeting.


When everyone has said their greeting, you may continue the next step.

Now that everyone has said their greeting. We will now move onto the ordering test. My partner(s) will be coming up to you. You must say your greeting.

My partner(s) will be ordering from you, your goal is to make their order and hand it to them. You are allowed to use our hand book in our dizzy server.

If you need any help, my panther(s) will come and assist you through.

We will now begin.


First, go with something simple like a cookie, then start to go with a drink, last go with 2 items.


Alrighty! We will now be moving onto the trivia segment. Please pay close attention as I will be giving important information. You may take notes.


Trollers receive only 1 warning. You must tell them to stop, if they continue you may warn them and report to a MR+ imminently from the group wall or our dizzy server!

Exploiters receive 0 warnings. That’s because they may be unstoppable. You must report to a HR+ imminently.


If you caught a staff member not doing their job correctly, you must get a HR+ to demote them.


Slacking is not allowed here. For example, not doing your job and jumping on the table means you are breaking our tables.


If you accidently gave your customer the wrong order, you must kindly apologize and remake their order again.

I will now be pming, which means you should have been taking notes. You can find the pm from the bottom right of your screen.


If you accidentally exited out, I will not be pming you again. If you didn’t receive the pm please let me know.

We will now begin.

Questions you may use.

Tell them to take a step back once they send the pm.

How many warnings does a troller receive?

How many warnings does an exploiter receive?

What would you do if you gave someone their wrong order?

What would you do if you caught a staff member not doing their job?

What is slacking?

We are now onto our last test, the troll segment. My partner(s) will be trolling, your goal is to stop them.

Make sure to state your greeting. We will now begin.



In the meantime, let the host know that your group is ready to be dismissed and ranked.

After telling your group they have passed, and if they have any questions before they are dismissed.


Host, you may take a group photo when all the trainee’s and baristas are dismissed or with them. Feel free to send the photo in the Ninja Cafe discord image channel.






Passed

Congratulations! You have passed today’s training session! Do you have any questions before I dismiss you?



Strike

Uh oh! It looks like you got a strike, don’t worry you can still pass the training session.



Failed

Unfortunately, you have failed this training. Due to (number) strikes and (reason). However, don't fret, you can still attend more training sessions. Any questions before I dismiss you?
