Buying A Cat - Things To Consider


The cat beds can be put in the ideal position so that the cat feels un-threatened and comfortable. If possible it should be placed high up, enabling the cat to watch the world go by easily. Cats are very alert even when asleep, and will want to know they can flee if necessary. The size of the beds also has to be considered. The cat will need to be able to stretch and turn easily; if they feel cramped they will not sleep on it.

They desperately need responsible people to rehome cats and they need the money too. If you do want a pedigree animal, then a visit to a cat show may pay dividends or failing that, check out the internet or your local paper for reputable breeders. You may have to put your name on a waiting list for a kitten as they're not available all year round.

Not only could one of your kitty's get hurt but you could find a yourself with a bill from the vets for treatment which is unnecessary as it does not need to happen!

Cats are nocturnal creatures and will normally be awake when humans are sleeping. If you don't want your house wrecked while you are in bed, try playing with your cat quite boisterously just before you retire for the night. In this way, the cat will, initially at least, be tired out and will want to sleep too.
