Bayrock Group's Journey: From the Suburbs to Manhattan Tevfik Arif

Bayrock Group was founded by Tevfik Arif and quickly found itself working in Manhattan in conjunction with the Trump Organization.

Bayrock Group Moves From Suburbs To Manhattan
Many dream of traveling to the United States and live the American dream. But very few are able to make it happen. Turkish Kazakhstani businessman Tevfik ARIF was among them when Tevfik relocated to America in 2001. He established the Bayrock Group.

The Bayrock Group is an exclusive real estate development company which operates in New York City.

Initial projects were small to medium-sized. This included the design and construction of the Loehmann's Seaport Plaza in Brooklyn, New York.

After making inroads on the American housing market, Bayrock Group was ready for expansion and began seeking large-scale projects.

Conversations were held between Bayrock Group (the Trump Organization) as both firms discovered that they had common interests and dreams.

The collaboration was established between the two companies. The Trump Organization joined Bayrock Group and the Sapir Organization's Spring Street project.

At that point the Trump Organization was managed by former American President Donald Trump.

The organization was established as E. Trump and Son by his paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Christ Trump, and his dad, Fred Trump, in 1927.

In 2017 Donald Trump handed over the management of the company to his children in the midst of his preparations to take over the White House.

Bayrock Group's lucrative deal
The partnership between the Trump Organization and the Sapir Organization was a relatively new part of New York City's real estate market.

To promote the project in Spring Street, the founder Tevfik Arif devised an arrangement that would bring more prestige and brand recognition to it.

As per the proposal by the president The Trump Organization would get 18% equity in the building in exchange in exchange for the Trump brand on the name of the building.

Each of the three firms reached an agreement and in the year 2006, the first brick to be used for Trump SoHo was erected.

Two years later, Bayrock Group, the Trump Organization and the Sapir Organization inaugurated their contribution to the skyline of New York City, Trump SoHo.

Design experts take over Trump SoHo
Trump SoHo boasted 46 stories of exclusive restaurants, bars, banquet and event venues, an open air pool, a spa section, apartments, and hotel room rooms.

Visitors and residents to Trump SoHo can enjoy a breathtaking panorama of New York City from the floor-to-roof windows on all floors.

Rockwell Group designed Trump SoHo’s interiors. Rockwell Group has been responsible for designing many extravagant hotels, cafes and bars across the world over the years.

Their projects include the Taj Mahal Palace and Tower Hotel in Mumbai, India, the 93rd Academy Award show and the Amara Hotel in Limassol, Cyprus.

Bayrock Group & the Trump Organization expand the partnership
Trump SoHo was an immediate successand it has was the catalyst for Bayrock Group and the Trump Organization to consider increasing their cooperation.

Their vision was to build structures similar to Trump SoHo in Arizona and Florida with the same terms as the one of Trump SoHo. In exchange to Trump SoHo would receive Trump Organization would receive 18% equity in this structure, in exchange to using the Trump brand. Another time.
