Friends: All of her students, though she is shy around other her age.
Personality: She is extremely friendly with her students and is able to make anyone feel welcome in her class. She is kind and caring and will always put others needs before her own
Flaws: She is very shy and quiet around ponies her age. She is likely to panic when faced with a social situation. Despite this, she doesn’t like doing what she is told by other ponies. Therefore when asked to do something she doesn’t want to do by somepony she doesn’t know very well, she will just walk away, which can make her seem rude.

Backstory: Before Cherry was born, a genetic mutation caused her to be born with wings as well as a horn. However, she was always meant to be a unicorn, therefore her wings have no bones and are unable to fly, fold or grow properly. This led to bullies making fun of her on her way to school every day, calling her Your Majesty or Princess No one. Usually when this happened she turned around with tears in her eyes and went the long way round. One day when she tried to go the long way to school, she saw her usual route was blocked by lots of older ponies. Knowing she would get lost if she went any other way, Cherry went back to the shortcut with the bullies. However, instead of letting herself get tormented she made up a tale in her head about her wings growing and exploring all of Equestria, ignoring the bullies. Frustrated about being ignored, the bullies followed her all the way to school calling after her. When they reached the school gates, they all got punished and Cherry earned her cutie mark. After this Cherry decided that she wanted to become a teacher and help other foals deal with bullying. Because she so nice and helpful at the school, she quickly became all of her pupils favourite teacher and helped lots of students overcome bullying. However this meant that she spent little time interacting with adults except the other teachers. Despite this she is able to befriend any foal she meets.
