Minecraft Snapshot 20w15a

It's a gorgeous day in Sweden today! The sun is shining and spring is in the air. When I say "spring" I'm referring to pollen. Let's fix that by 1) staying indoors and 2) creating a new biome with a grain basalt, blackstone, magma cubes. We also have some new songs to listen to while exploring the Nether. Enjoy the snap!



20w15a: New Features



- Accessibility improvements - Included a Piglin banner pattern - The Basalt Deltas biome was added to the Nether - Added soul campfires. Warm your buns with the heat of one thousand souls! Three new tracks of Nether Music were added. - Quartz bricks, cracked nether bricks and nether blocks that have been chiseled! - A new set of stone blocks, Blackstone, has been added. It comes in regular polished, polished, or polished brick variants. - Added Gilded Blackstone - Blackstone which has been imbued with gold and is capable of dropping gold nuggets when broken. Blackstone can be used to make furnaces and stone tools.



- Addition of "Line Spacing" chat and accessibility option - added "Chat Delay" accessibility option



Basalt Deltas



This biome is the remnant of volcanic eruptions. It has a significant concentration of basalt columns and lava deltas. - As you stroll through the biome, you will see flakes of flowing ash. Magma Cubes finally have a place to call home. Large patches of Blackstone can be located here.



Nether Music



We're pleased to announce that we've added 3 new tracks for the upcoming Nether Update, all composed by the extremely talented Lena Raine.



Rubedo will be played in the Nether Wastes Chrysopoeia will be played in Crimson Forests



So Below will be performed in Soulsand Valleys as well as in Basalt Deltas.



Lena has two words to say about the music. More information will be available in a separate blog post.

Changes in 20w15a



Dispenser modifications Soul Sand can now be used to make soul torches - Nether vegetation blocks (sprouts and roots, vines, wart, fungus and blocks) are now compostable . Walls can now be connected to more things! (like iron panes, bars, and even pickles!) Minecraft server list The best tool to break leaves is the hoe. Mobs shouldn't walk on magma blocks or make campfires.



Changes to Dispenser



Dispensers are now able to saddle horses and pigs. Dispensers also have the capability to put horse armor on horses. Dispensers may now place carpets on llamas. Dispensers now have the ability to place chests on llamas. Dispensers can also place chests on donkeys, mules, and llamas. Dispensers are now able cut a Mooshroom. Dispensers will be able to shear snow golems
