With all the new versions, updates, builds, and mods, it's hard to believe how far Minecraft has come. The game's full version was released all the way in 2011 but prior to that, it's been in Early Access since 2009. It's easy to forget just how much has come and gone in that time, especially if you've not played the game since it first came out into the world. Thankfully, this new trailer gives a beautiful insight into the changes that have occurred.
Strongcraft
This is a fan-created version of the original Minecraft trailer. Redditor RedAdventurer11 posted an updated version of Mojang's first big trailer. It's enjoyable to watch especially when you compare it to its predecessor. It follows the same pattern as the official one but showcases all of the new features biomes, features, and other elements that have been added to the game over the past decade.

Frankly, it does a much better job of promoting the game simply because of the amount of new content that has been added. As user LennyTheSpider pointed out, RedAdventurer11 actually made a purpose of presenting the major updates in order. The segment starts around 58 seconds and shows the ice spikes that came from 1.7 and ocean monuments from 1.8 and the city fights ending from 1.9 and on.
It's a minor aspect that adds to progression and time in the video. It's also not something that RedAdventurer11 was hoping people would notice - but the Minecraft community never ceases to be awe-inspiring. The trailer has been reanimated and is a wonderful piece of nostalgia. It's difficult not to be awestruck when you see it.
