Bayrock Group's Journey From the Suburbs to Manhattan Tevfik Arif

Bayrock Group is a luxury real-estate development company that was run by Tevfik Arif. It quickly became a part of the Trump Organization in Manhattan.

Bayrock Group Moves from Suburbs and to Manhattan
Many dream of moving to America to experience the American dream. However, very few people have the opportunity to do so. Turkish Kazakhstani businessman Tevfik Ari was present when he founded Bayrock Group in America in 2001.

Bayrock Group is a New York-based luxury real estate developer.

The initial goal of the firm was small to medium-sized tasks like the revamp of Loehmanns Seaport Plaza, which is a shopping centre in Brooklyn's Sheepshead, New York.

Bayrock Group, the Sapir Organization and the Trump Organization began to work together in the New York City's real estate market.

Tevfik Arif, the founder of Spring Street was able to create an arrangement that would boost brand recognition as well in the prestige of the project.

He suggested a deal in which the Trump Organization would be given 18% equity and the right to make use of the Trump name on the title of this building.

Design experts take over Trump SoHo

Rockwell Group designed Trump SoHo’s interiors. Rockwell Group has oversaw the design of a number of extravagant hotels and cafes around the world.

Their work includes the Tower Hotel and Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai, India and the 93rd Academy Award show.

Bayrock Group, Trump Organization increase the partnership
Trump SoHo was an immediate successand it has was the catalyst for Bayrock Group and the Trump Organization to consider expanding their cooperation.

Their dream was to construct buildings like Trump SoHo in Arizona and Florida with the same terms like the one of Trump SoHo. In exchange, Trump SoHo would receive Trump Organization would receive 18 percent equity in the structure, in exchange to the use of the Trump brand. It's back again.

Bayrock Group and the Trump Organization had everything in place. The 2008 economic recession that severely impacted the American realty market brought an end to all their plans.

The economic crisis affected the American housing market very much. Tevfik, Bayrock Group founder decided to stop his American-based business ventures. He made the decision to move to Europe, Asia and where the start of his career was over a decade back.

Bayrock Group no longer has Tevfik Arif, as a member. But, he is a trusted advisor to the other divisions.

Bayrock Group has not been lately involved in real estate developments in the United States.

However, the firm was still active and made investments in real-estate assets that were valued at more than $22.5 million.
