It is now available in the exact same condition as the initial release. This means that there are 32 blocks to build with, and all the original bugs are in the game! If you're accustomed to the latest versionof Minecraft, it could be quite shocking to see how the game has developed. To quote Tom Stone from Mojang "With just 32 blocks to build with, all the original bugs, and an (inter)face that only a mother would love, Minecraft 2009 is even more beautiful than we ever imagined!"
Version
The Classic version was the initial stage of development, which had some of its versions released to the public. It was first referred to as "Minecraft Alpha". This is the version before all the updates and expansions.
- To start with, you only have 32 blocks so your building capacities will be limited. This version does not have any monsters or enemies. There is no need to worry whether you'll get at home in the dark. Sand blocks were extremely scarce in the past and were only found on one-block-thick beaches. Don't throw away your blocks of sand! In the classic version the legs and arms of the character swing around when you walk. It's hilarious!
