Who is Tevfik Arif and what exactly is the Bayrock Group?
Bayrock Group was established by Tevfik, who was born to an ethnically Turkish family in Soviet Kazakhstan.

Tevfik earned a degree from the Moscow Trade and Economic Institute in International Relations.

In 1991, following his service as a minister for 17 years, he decided to leave to set up several businesses. When economic restructuring was underway in the former Soviet republics, he turned his attention towards the business sector.

Arif, as a government official had the chance to work with and network with many business leaders. These contacts and expertise enabled him to expand his business interests.

The brother of his and he acquired the Akytyubinsk Chemicals Plant(ACCP), Kazakhstan, as a joint-venture. Tevfik Arif had three businesses including luxury real estate development and food exports. Through his many enterprises, Tevfik Arif gained many international partners.

He moved to Turkey in 1993 and played a key role in the development of the famous all-inclusive hotels in Turkey. He established the Labada Hotel Antalya and then went on to the next hotel across the Atlantic.

Bayrock Group
Tevfik Alif relocated to the United States in 2001 as a way to expand his company and be closer to his American family. Bayrock Group was a New York City real property development company.

Bayrock's early projects were not big despite Arif trying to establish connections and gain an understanding of the local market.

His efforts eventually centered on Manhattan's most sought-after real estate markets. Arif was an experienced investor and businessman, despite the daunting nature of New York realty.

Bayrock Group's headquarters have been relocated to situated in Manhattan's Trump Tower.

Bayrock Group began by executing small- to medium-sized projects throughout New York. Loehmann’s Seaport Plaza in Brooklyn’s Sheepshead region was renovated by the company.

Tevfik Arif After Bayrock Group's success Tevfik Arif was driven to be more ambitious. He longed for bigger projects and changed the strategy of the company to focus it on its core business.

Bayrock Group's New York City offices were relocated to the Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue as part of his new strategy.

The relocation yielded more than a different location as it got the company in the vicinity of the Trump Organization. The building is also home to the internationally-respected family organization.

The Bayrock Group Founded Trump Soho
The Trump Organization and Bayrock Group had a similar vision of building luxury real estate projects They teamed up.

The Bayrock Group already worked with the Sapir Organization to complete another project in Manhattan's SoHo Quarter along Spring Street.

Bayrock Group and the Sapir Organization would benefit from Trump Organization's inclusion in this project. Tevfik Aif was able to create brand recognition.

Arif reached an agreement that gives the Trump Organization 18% equity to the building, in exchange for using the Trump name.

Bayrock Group, Trump Organization and Sapir Organization approved the deal.

The first brick of Donald Trump SoHo's new building was laid in the year 2006.

It took two years to build the building, and was finished in time for the opening two years after its completion.

Trump SoHo opened in Manhattan with apartments, hotel rooms and luxury restaurants, in addition to bars and pools.

All 46 floors provided spectacular views from the floor-to-ceiling glass windows. The 46 floors of the hotel give unbeatable views of New York City from its floor-to–ceiling windows.

Handel Architects designed this building. Its recent projects include the National September 11th Memorial and Museum and the Ritz-Carlton Hotel.

Rockwell Group, on behalf Bayrock Group, designed the interior of the building.

The company has also been involved in Seattle, Las Vegas, New York's Climate Pledge Arena, and Las Vegas. The firm also has experience in Spain, Mexico, Indonesia as well as Mexico.

Tevfik Arif's Bayrock Group invests millions of dollars in the United States
Because of the success of Trump SoHo, Bayrock Group was able work together with the Trump Organization on other luxury real estate projects.

They wanted to build buildings in Arizona and Florida under the Trump name.

The financial crisis of 2008 which impacted American real estate in the US prevented the construction of projects in Arizona or Florida.

Tevfik arif, Bayrock Group founder pursued other projects throughout Europe and Central Asia following the U.S. market's shift.

Tevfik Arif Bayrock Group, while active in the United States, invested more $2.5 million in real assets.

Bayrock Group is not currently involved in any real estate developments in the United States.

Tevfik is no longer involved in Bayrock Group's day-to-day work. However, he remains a respected and trusted adviser to the
