SUMMARY
Emily is a beautiful women came with a rich family and she’s popular in their town. A lot of men admire Emely but never had a chance to court her because of her grumpy strict father. While eating, there's a unpredicted event that her father suddenly died due to heart attack. Emily starts to lose herself and still shocked from what happened to her father. Everyone in their town wants to condole her father's death but Emily cannot accept that her father is already dead. For that reason, Emily kept her father's corpse for a days. it's hard for her to let go of her father corpse. One day a loud explosion in front of her house and she met the foreman named Homer Barron and then they go out for a date. Days had been past and thankfully Emily allowed to buried her father's corpse. The whole town is happy that Emily have interest in Homer after her father's death and all the people in town thinks that they are getting married soon that’s why Emily prepared everything in the wedding but suddenly she discovered that Homer says to their friend that Emily is not the marrying type. Emily bought a poison named arsenic, she was so upset because of the shame that Homer gave her, she locked herself again and she was so depressed for what happened. She never response and seen to anyone for 40 years, when Emily died some people in town visit their house and they are shocked because there was a skeleton body who had been dead for a long time and they think it was Homer Barron.
