But we all know that, right? At least the Democrats know that. Senator McCain and Governor Palin represent change we cannot believe in. Suddenly, however, you put a woman on the ticket and they automatically become "mavericks" and "reformers." If you buy that, I have a NYC bridge for sale.

So here we are, about 50 days before the general election and we hear from the McCain campaign that Senator Obama's years as a "community organizer" does not amount to a hill of beans. The insinuation is there; it is a direct and malicious attack on Barak Obama's race.

Mr Clegg has said that the system was "clearly bonkers" and that "It would be preposterous for Gordon Brown to end up like some squatter in no 10 because of some constitutional nicety".

But McCain's campaign advisers stood up and made their candidate face a hard reality; something the Obama campaign has had difficulty. McCain not only listened to the feedback but based his decision on it.

By click here -September the Obama campaign pretty much admitted they had no strategy for Sarah or anything else that was not in their game plan. Since they had clearly not done scenario planning they found themselves in a box they could not wiggle out of.

Does anyone outside of political pundits, advertisers, polling services, and others profiting from the spectacle really believe that these long mind-numbing campaigns result in a more informed voter?

For those who say that the McCain ticket represents change because he chose a woman nominee; you are using this as an excuse not to elect the first African-American President of the U.S. Admit it.
