Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (December 7 63, Nigeria) was born to a faith-based family and loving, devoted parents. He is the eldest child of Elder T.E Oyakhilome and Angelina Oyakhilome. She was a founder of the Assemblies Of God Church in Benin City and a matriarch of the Oyakhilome families. She handed down her divine grace on her son at an early age.

The LoveWorld ministry is a collaboration between the entire family. Reverend Ken the brother of Ken is the revered pastor of Christ Embassy's Houston Texas Church and a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren serves as the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry(LMAM) in which several gospel artists are among the best-selling worldwide.

Pastor Chris is blessed with two daughters, Charlene and Carissa Sharon. Carissa Sharon, who is also referred to by CSO she has chosen to follow the footsteps of her father by sharing the gospel of God the world. She is an accomplished, award-winning gospel singer and part of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Family.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome received his education at Edo College. He then won an award to study architecture in Bendel State University. He also holds an honorary doctorate in divinity awarded by the Benson Idahosa University. While attending Ambrose Ali University, he got his calling from God to join the ministry and be an ambassador for the Lord.

The LoveWorld ministry was established under the direction of Pastor Chris. It is a pioneer in satellite TV, Christian TV production and programming. LoveWorldSAT was the first Christian television station to broadcast from Africa to the the world, 24/7, all the time on free-to-air channels. There are currently LoveWorld television stations on satellite and cable networks throughout the world.

Christ Embassy has a strong presence in Pastor Chris's home country of Nigeria, South Africa, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States. Apart from preaching the gospel message, the Man Of God has also set up a variety of non-profit organizations that are tasked with providing vital services and hope to the most vulnerable and neglected people. COFI is a partnership of five that are committed to improving the living conditions in some the most neglected areas.

Under the auspices COFI is COFI's InnerCity Mission (ICM) for Children, the Volunteer Medical Corps (VMC), Trauma Care International Foundation (TCIF), Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF) and the Bible For All Mission.
