Pastor of faith, author, and faith healer and TV presenter Chris Oyakhilome (also known as Pastor Chris) is the creator of LoveWorld Incorporated. The business, also known as Christ Embassy is located in Lagos, Nigeria. His distinctive interpretation of the Bible has inspired millions across the globe.

Chris: The Pastor Chris: The Man
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born December 7th, 1963, in Edo State in Nigeria. He grew up in a faith-filled family with loving, committed parents. He is the son of the elder of elder T.E Oyakhilome. Angelina, one of the pioneers at the Assemblies, of God Church in Benin City, as well as the matriarch of Oyakhilome's Oyakhilome family, who imparted her divine grace on her son from the beginning.


The LoveWorld ministry is a collaboration between the entire family. The Reverend brother of Ken (the revered pastor of Christ Embassy Houston, Texas Church) and a member of Christ Embassy Central Executive Council are his two sisters. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his education at Edo College. After a grant was made to study the field of architecture at Bendel State University (now Ambrose Ali University) and he earned the BSc degree in Architecture, and an honorary Doctor of Science. He also holds an honorary doctorate in divinity degree from Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was his first university. He received a call from God to enter the ministry and to serve the Lord.

While still in university, the Man of God started what would later turn out to be the biggest church in the world. It began with a small group of prayer called 'Youth for Christ'. The group would later become the foundation of LoveWorld Incorporated and Christ Embassy as well as eventually millions of followers across the globe.

Pastor Chris led the LoveWorld ministry to become the pioneer of satellite TV and Christian production of television. LoveWorldSAT is the first Christian TV station to broadcast from Africa 24/7 a day, on air-free networks. There are LoveWorld satellite and cable television stations all over the world.

Christ Embassy has strong presences in Pastor Chris's home country of Nigeria in addition to South Africa, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States. It also operates two Healing School in South Africa, Canada and the US, where Pastor Chris runs sessions throughout the year, in which miracles are possible.

Chris Oyakhilome Songs and Gospel Music are also an essential part of worship. Pastor Chris invites Christ Embassy Churches have a choir that is trained and overseen by the Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry. Many of these singers have successful solo career.

The Future African Leaders Foundation, (FALF), is an organization that seeks to continue the inspiring work of Pastor Chris. Its goal is to discover and develop young, talented leaders. They help them prepare for a an exciting future by assisting and recognizing their outstanding achievements. Pastor Chris invests today in youngsters to enable them to be leaders of the future.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome established the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation Internet (COFI) as an international non-profit organization. Its purpose is to aid the most vulnerable people and communities within certain areas and countries around the world.

Alongside preaching the Gospel In addition, as well as preaching the Gospel, Man of God has established NGOs with goals of providing essential aid and hope to vulnerable, needy and forgotten souls.
