Free Mario download for Minecraft players

Mario is making his official Minecraft debut and hopping from one computer-generated world to the next.
In a brand new update for the Wii U version of the blockbuster game, Mario, Luigi, Wario, Toad, Princess Peach and many more Super Mario Bros characters will appear in the game starting next Tuesday.
The most appealing aspect is that the colourful characters are free, in these days of costly downloadable content.

The Mario pack will add more than just characters to the pixelated world Minecraft.
Players will also be able to re-skin the game's textures and items and fight more streamlined versions of Hammer Bros. and Dry Bones from the Mario world, all played to the soothing sounds of the old-fashioned music from Super Mario 64.
Fans will be able to create their own places by using Mario-themed Minecraft blocks. They can then explore new worlds by using classic characters from one of the most popular games (albeit a bit more aggressive).
A disc-based Minecraft for Wii U version, including all Mario extras will be released in June.
Minecraft has sold more than 70 million copies in the world and is the third most-sold video game ever.

The game does not have any specific goals for the player, but many different methods to play the game.
The game lets players create their own worlds and locations, which can lead to incredible virtual landscapes.
