Download the program
Download the minecraft program from the website of Minecraft and save it to your computer.
Before downloading the program, you need ensure that your system is compatible with the program. You should ensure that your computer has enough RAM and a powerful CPU.
You'll need the latest version of Java to run minecraft. Java isn't usually installed on computers running Windows. You will need to download it from the Java website.

Create the program to be used

You can modify the way you want to play the game

If you're looking to play in survival mode, for example you can leave the game mode set to "0". However should you want to play in a creative mode, you'll need to change the game mode to "I".
Decide who has access to the game.

Find your public IP address.
This is the address that you provide to anyone who wishes to connect to the server, but he/she is outside your immediate network. It is easy to locate the IP address by doing an internet search using an argument like "what is my IP address"
