Play is at the center of everything we do However, safety is always the top priority. Yes, safety is paramount. To this end, Mojang Studios enlist the assistance of moderators, who strive to keep Minecraft's friendly environment.
This is something we've been working on for a long time, but we've recently added new moderation options to the Bedrock version of Minecraft which we'll be rolling out in the coming months. These tools are meant to help ensure that all our players can continue feeling at least as secure as possible in Minecraft and Realms on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, Windows 10, iOS, and Android.
So, what's new? Minecraft moderators can expel players who don't follow our Community Guidelines when sending online messages via our services (Realms) or Featured Servers, and communicating online via signposts and books. Of course, the content of single-player games is not moderated.
Currently, moderators can give permanent bans that cover all versions of Minecraft (except Minecraft Dungeons) in order to focus on the most serious of offenses meant to cause harm to others. We are also looking at introducing temporary bans to lesser-infractions.
Servers
When users are banned and is banned, they will receive a message letting them know they've been banned, along with details on how to cancel their Realms subscription. For more details on serious offenses and guidelines on what to do if you are banned, visit the Minecraft Help Center.
By introducing these new tools, we want to ensure that our Community Guidelines are adhered to and, in turn, help us provide a positive and enjoyable experience during our games. And there's more to be added. We are constantly evaluating new ways to help us make our community a safer space for everyone. We we will keep you informed of the development.
