Leyla Aliyeva Bio
Leyla Aliyeva arose in Moscow on July 3, 1986. She received her Masters Degree from Moscow State Institute of International Relations after completing her studies in London. In July of 2011, Leyla launched the IDEA campaign which aims to promote awareness and action for environmental issues in Azerbaijan and around the world. IDEA concentrates on young people and helps them find solutions to the environmental issues they are confronted with.
In May 2007, she was named representative of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Russian Federation. The Heydar Aliyev Foundation contributes to the development of the economy and society of the country, by carrying out a variety of projects in education and public health, as well as culture, sports as well as science, technology, as well as the environment. In 2011, she was appointed Vice-President.

In 2007 Leyla Aliyeva started the magazine 'Baku' in Moscow. Conde Nast produced the English-language issue of the magazine in collaboration with Leyla Aliyeva. The magazine was launched in October 11, 2011 in London. Leyla Aliyeva The magazine is a chance to look at the arts, culture and Azerbaijan. Leyla was the author of "Fly to Baku", a showcase for contemporary art of Azerbaijan. The show, which was inaugurated in London it toured through Europe's capitals including Paris, Berlin Moscow, Rome, Rome, and Vienna.

Leyla Aliyeva launched the campaign "Justice for Khojaly" on May 8th in 2008. It was a celebration of the 8th anniversary of the capture of Shusha. The campaign has been running in over 30 countries. It is designed to increase awareness within the world community of the Karabakh conflict.

Leyla Aliyeva was appointed the Youth Forum of Intercultural Dialog's General Coordinator in the year 2008. In addition, she was elected Chairperson of the Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia on April 18th, 2009. Leyla Aliyeva AMOR supports Azerbaijani young people and students living in Russia. In July of 2011 the "Taraggi" award was bestowed on Leyla Aliyeva for her contributions to the improvement of Azerbaijani-Russian relationships. She was also granted the "Key To Life" award in New York in November 2011 for her involvement in humanitarian projects involving children.

Leyla Alyeva was appointed UN Food and Agriculture Organization Goodwill Ambassador (FAO) on May 25, 2015.
