Minecraft Snapshot 20w15a

It's a beautiful day in Sweden today! The sun is shining and spring is in the air, and when I say "spring" I mean pollen. Let's remedy that by 1) Staying indoors and 2) introduce a brand-new biome with a grain of blackstone, basalt and magma cubes! To spice it up, we have some new tunes for you to enjoy while exploring the Nether. Enjoy the snap!



New Features in 20w15a



Accessibility improvements - Added Piglin banner patterns The Basalt Delta biome was added to the Nether – Added soul campfires. Warm your buns with the warmth of one thousand souls! Three new tracks of Nether Music were added to the. - Quartz bricks, cracked nether bricks and nether blocks that have been chiseled! - Added a new set of stone blocks named Blackstone with regular polished, polished, and polished brick variants! - Added Gilded Blackstone- This is a Blackstone that has been infused with gold and will drop gold nuggets after being broken. Blackstone can be used to make furnaces and stone tools.

Basalt Deltas



- Remains of volcanic eruptions, this biome sports the highest concentration of basalt columns and lava deltas - Walking through, you will be covered in tiny flakes of white ash that flow from the ground and ash sludge. Magma Cubes finally have a place to call home, and they are spawning often. A new block, Blackstone, can be found in large patches



Nether Music



We're thrilled to announce that we've added three new tracks for the forthcoming Nether Update, all composed by the talented Lena Raine.



Rubedo will be played in the Nether Wastes Chrysopoeia will be played in Crimson Forests



So Below will be played in Soulsand Valleys and in Basalt Deltas

20w15a Changes



Dispenser is changed. Soul sand can now also be used to create soul torches. - Now, nether vegetation blocks (sprouts roots vines, fungusus, fungusus, wart and wart block) can be composted. Walls will be connected to more things. (like iron bars, panes and even pickles!) - Hoes are now the most appropriate tool to break leaves.
