Minecraft Gets PlayStation VR Support

Cristina Did you experience odd or funny situations when testing VR in Minecraft?

Damian: Does Covid-19 count? The entire team had to move to working remotely in March. However, it was quite easy. It helped us all with a lot of work to concentrate on. With the world becoming more challenging and threatening for everyone, this was a little piece of normality in a fast-changing and complex situation.

Rog: I shouldn't be shocked by this, but the VR experience makes the encounters more real, so things like gravel falling down on you feel like something completely new, you're even jumping away from the way (and falling over).

Cristina: What is your most memorable aspect of the game?

Damian: Flying is something I really enjoy. Using the elytra in 3D gives you a real sense of freedom and it's just enjoyable to fly through the sky while looking down at your surroundings.

Rog says he really enjoys flying! It only enhances the experience I already enjoy. Cave exploration is more enjoyable than ever before. Who wants to sleep? !

Cristina What are the mobs that you most fear in VR?

Damian David: Call me old school, but I've always found running into a Creeper to be quite frightening. Add VR and a dark cave to the mix and hearing that 'hiss' of a Creeper in the vicinity will cause you to jump out of your skin.

Rog: Yes, those are... Creepers !!!! Seeing an arrow whistle over you, even though you haven't noticed the nearby skeleton(s) could give you an unexpected surprise, too.

Cristina: Which biomes do you think look the coolest?

Damian: Swimming underwater in VR mode is a fantastic method to experience the thrill of the whole. just another blog or something A warm ocean biome would be my favorite. It's great fun to swim with dolphins and deep dive to the wreck of a ship. It's like going on holiday... but without all the sandy sand that sticks to your suncream!

Rog: Jungle! It's a fantastic sight in VR, complete with massive trees and parrots soaring around and pigs hopping around the branches.

Sounds like the perfect holiday! Rog and Damian are special thanks for showing me how much Minecraft in VR is more enjoyable than I could ever imagine. In all honesty I'm not able to help but notice the utter absence of fantastic sights around me . It's time to see how high I can climb in VR without falling down.
