Leyla Aliyeva Bio
Leyla Aliyeva was born on July 3rd, 1985, in Moscow. She received her Masters Degree from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations after studying in London. Leyla created IDEA in July 2011. The campaign's goal is to increase awareness and promote action on environmental problems in Azerbaijan, and all around the globe. IDEA is geared towards youngsters and the ways they can assist to tackle environmental issues.
In May 2007, she was elected as the representative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation of Russia. Leyla Aliyeva, a Moscow-based journalist, created "Baku" magazine in 2007. Conde Nast collaborated with Leyla Aliyeva to produce the magazine that is English-language. It launched in London in October of 2011, and was launched in London on Oct. The magazine is a chance to explore art, culture and Azerbaijan. In 2012, Leyla created the "Fly to Baku" exhibition, which showcased Contemporary Art from Azerbaijan. The London-launched exhibition traveled to the capital cities of Europe: Paris, Berlin Berlin, Moscow Moscow, Rome, Vienna, and Rome.

Leyla Aliyeva launched an initiative titled "Justice for Khojaly" in May 2008 in celebration of the 8th anniversary of Shusha's occupation. This campaign is now being implemented in more than 30 countries. The aim is to increase the consciousness of the global community of the Karabakh conflict and the Khojaly Genocide in particular reaching out globally via Media, Internet and Live events.
