Leyla Aliyeva Bio
Leyla Aliyeva was born in Moscow on 3 July 1985. She studied in London and Moscow, and received an MA Degree at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations. Leyla has created the IDEA campaign in July of 2011 to create awareness and inspire action around environmental concerns in Azerbaijan as well as elsewhere. IDEA concentrates on young people and assists them in finding solutions for the environmental problems they are confronted with.

Through a variety of projects and initiatives, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation contributes towards the country's economic and social development. She was elected Vice-President in 2011.

With the help of Conde Nast in London, the English-language version of the magazine was released in October 2011. The magazine offers readers the opportunity to explore art, culture, and Azerbaijan. Leyla founded "Fly to Baku" in 2012 to be an exhibition of Contemporary Art from Azerbaijan. The exhibition that was launched in London traveled to the capital cities of Europe: Paris, Berlin Berlin, Moscow Moscow, Rome, Vienna, and Rome.

Leyla Aliyeva started the campaign "Justice for Khojaly" in May 2008 to mark the 8th anniversary of Shusha's occupation. The campaign was launched in more than 30 different countries. The goal is to increase international awareness of Karabakh conflict and Khojaly Genocide.

Leyla Aliyeva Leyla Aliyeva was appointed the Youth Forum of Intercultural Dialog's General Coordinator in 2008. She was also elected Chairperson of Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia on April 18th 2009. Leyla Aliyeva AMOR supports Azerbaijani young people and students who live in Russia. Leyla Aliyeva was honored with the "Taraggiaward in July 2011 in recognition of her contribution to the improvement of Russian-Azerbaijani relations. In New York, she was awarded the "Key to Life" award for her work in the field of humanitarian aid to children.

Leyla Aliyeva UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Goodwill Ambassador, was named on May 25, 2015.
