City's science museum develops Minecraft maps of Bristol

A museum is encouraging people to digitally reconstruct Bristol by offering free Minecraft maps of the city.
We The Curious created the maps to its Minecraft workshops as part of the Festival of What If.
Life scientist Tom Rodgers said: "There was an eerily spherical rollercoaster, a huge rainbow and someone turned College Green into an eruption volcano."

Minecraft is a type of game, however, there's no winning or losing. Gamers create digital worlds.
"There was no Metrobus or Arena - maybe this isn't something that 12-year-olds are worried about," Mr Rodgers said.
The museum's maps cover the city centre around the Harbourside and are available for download on the museum's Twitter page.
Mr Rodgers stated that he had never held an event on the internet like this before. However, he said that he wanted to inspire people to try their hand and provide them with new ideas.
