Minecraft star Stampy Cat to deliver RSE Christmas speech

YouTube and Minecraft legend Stampy Cat will deliver a lecture to around 2,000 Dundee schoolchildren.
Stampy - his real name is Joseph Garrett - will give the Royal Society of Edinburgh's Christmas Lecture in the city's Caird Hall on Monday.
Games
His YouTube channel has more than 6.7 million users.
Next Thursday, the lecture will only be available on BBC iPlayer.
BBC Scotland said Minecraft fans will, for the first time, be able to watch Stampy demonstrate how he creates his videos in a discussion with Dundee games entrepreneur Chris van der Kuyl.
Stampy will tell the story of making his Christmas special , and give insight into his life.
Mr. van der Kuyl said Stampy was the "epitome of the 21st Century digital native" who could inspire audiences regardless of their age.
"Stampy is an inspiration to an entire new generation of young people who can clearly see that their future careers will rely on a unique blend of talent as well as creativity, technical and design skills that can be mastered by anyone," he added.
The RSE lecture will be given as part of BBC Make it Digital, an initiative to encourage digital creativity among young people.
