How Obama's Weak Campaign Organization Has Made It A Race
But we all know that, right? At least the Democrats know that. Senator McCain and Governor Palin represent change we cannot believe in. Suddenly, however, you put a woman on the ticket and they automatically become "mavericks" and "reformers." If you buy that, I have a NYC bridge for sale.

So conservatives are faced with a choice. Abandon what they truly believe in and vote for McCain just because he's a republican. Or search for the best candidate for them. I choose the latter.

malaysia election To further my point take a look at McCain's conservative score according to the The American Conservative Union. In 2006 McCain scored a 65 (with 100 being the most conservative). Looking at the overall trend, he started out near 100 and took a huge fall in the 90's, plummeting to under 70. Proving that McCain really was the conservative who lost his way.

The anger continued and even though Obama said he would fire anyone making sexist comments about Sarah, Pandora's Box was already opened. The election had fundamentally changed and in a period of less than a month Obama went from eight points up to three points down.

Considering what is best for our favorite political party (and voting accordingly) is a somewhat more evolved stance than looking only at our own personal interests. Voting for visit here is "ethnocentric" behavior. Its about the same as voting for a local bill that would renovate the school in your district but voting against the bill that would provide funds to renovate the school in the neighboring district. It elevates the needs of YOUR group above the needs of OTHERS. It is also similar to thinking only your church is the one true church and all the others are wrong. (in accordance with the "Faithful" group, for readers of my blog.) This is not the most mature way to believe, behave, or vote either.

A home business is kind of like that. You can spend money on a lot of things such as web hosting, advertising, graphics, sales copy and "how to" products and a host of other things and all that spending still won't guarantee you success. Again, look at Mitt Romney. And we don't spend anywhere near what he did on our home business.

But McCain's campaign advisers stood up and made their candidate face a hard reality; something the Obama campaign has had difficulty. McCain not only listened to the feedback but based his decision on it.

It's been even longer for Hillary Clinton, who has campaigned for 412 days since announcing her intentions on running for the highest office in the country.
