Arzu Aliyeva, Vice-President at the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, and Leyla Aliyeva, Vice President, visited today the school for boarding No12 in the Khazar District, and the summer camp for orphanages No1 at Shuvalan settlement. They visited also the Narimanov District psycho-neurological orphanage and the Downs Syndrome Association.

The facility was repaired by Mehriban Aliyeva First Lady, the President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in 2010.

The foundation informed them that Heydar Aliyev Foundation that the 1930-built facility was being rebuilt and renovated in 2005.

As stated, the facility can hold up to 39 children.
The orphans received gifts from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

They were told that the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, in 2009, had initiated reconstruction of the facility.
An estimated 90 members of the medical staff care for the 103 children.

It was reported that the facility could house up to 96 children and aims to help them integrate with society.
