Pastor of faith, author, and faith healer and a television host Chris Oyakhilome (also known as Pastor Chris) is the creator of LoveWorld Incorporated. Pastor Chris: The Man
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (December 7 63, Nigeria) was born to a family of faith and loving, devoted parents. He is the youngest son of Elder T.E Oyakhilome. Pastor Chris is the father of two daughters, Carissa Sharon (Charlene) and Chris. When he was still in university, The Man of God founded what would be one of the largest churches worldwide. He began an informal prayer group called "Youth for Christ" which would later grow into the most popular organisation of its type on campus. It would also serve as the foundation for the future Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Incorporated which has millions of followers all over the globe.

Under the leadership of Pastor Chris, LoveWorld became a pioneer of satellite television and Christian programming. LoveWorldSAT became the first Christian television channel to broadcast 24 hours a day from Africa via free-to -air networks. Today, there are LoveWorld television stations on satellite and cable networks throughout the world.

Christ Embassy has strong presence in Pastor Chris's homeland of Nigeria, South Africa and Canada. The church has two Healing Schools located in South Africa and Canada, where Pastor Chris holds seasonal sessions where the power of God is demonstrated.

Music and Gospel Music are integral parts of the worship. Pastor Chris: The Philanthropist
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a zealous donor who established the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation (COFI) which is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation with the aim of helping the most disadvantaged communities and individuals in the most impoverished regions and nations across the globe.

Alongside preaching the Gospel, the Man of God also founded a number of NGOs that have the mission of providing essential services and hope to those who are poor, in need or uninformed. COFI is a partnership with five other organizations who have all committed to improving the standard of living in the most underdeveloped areas.

Under the auspices of COFI are COFI's InnerCity Mission (ICM) for Children, the Volunteer Medical Corps (VMC), Trauma Care International Foundation (TCIF), Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF), and the Bible For All Mission. Each of these organisations works to improve people's lives as well as their health, spirits and well-being.

The charity also provides food to children in need. Pastor Chris believes that solid foundations of community are backed by COFI and The InnerCity Mission. This encourages accountability and good governance. The charity also helps to promote sustainable development in Africa as well as other vulnerable areas of the world, according with the Sustainable Development Goals.
