Chris Oyakhilome Biography. The Man. The Mentor. The Teacher. And The Philanthropist.

Pastor, faith-healer, author and a television host Chris Oyakhilome (also called Pastor Chris) is the creator of LoveWorld Incorporated. The company, also known as Christ Embassy is located in Lagos, Nigeria. His unique way of presenting God's Word has enthralled millions across the world.

Chris: The Pastor Chris"The" Man
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is a Nigerian Christian, born in December 63 in Edo State. He was raised by his parents, who are loving and caring. He is the elder of three sons who was born to Elder T.E Oyakhilome (one of the founding members of the Assemblies for God Church in Benin City) and Angelina. Angelina was the matriarch and imprinted her divine grace to her son at a young age.

The LoveWorld ministry involves the whole family. Reverend Ken is Ken's brother , and a an active member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren (KattyWorghiren) is director at the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry. This ministry is home to many gospel artists who are top-selling across the world.

Pastor Chris has two children: Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon follows in in her father's tradition of sharing God's Word with the world. In addition, she is known as CSO her name, she is an award-winning, talented gospel musician and is a member of LoveWorld Music and Arts.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his studies in Edo College. After a grant was made to study architecture at Bendel State University (now Ambrose Ali University) and he was awarded the BSc degree in Architecture, and an honorary Doctor of Science. He also holds an honorary doctorate of divinity from the Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was his first university. Chris Oyakhilome Family He received his calling from God to enter the ministry and serve the Lord.

While in the university The Man of God established what would eventually be the largest congregation in the world. It started with an uninvolved group of believers known as 'Youth for Christ'. Chris Oyakhilome The group would later become the foundation for LoveWorld Incorporated and Christ Embassy as well as eventually millions of followers worldwide.

Under the direction of Pastor Chris, under Pastor Chris's direction, the LoveWorld ministry became an innovator in satellite television and Christian television production and programming. LOVEWORLDSAT was first Christian television station broadcasting out of Africa throughout the day on free-to air channels. There are currently LoveWorld television stations that are available on satellite and cable networks across the globe.

Christ Embassy has strong presence in Pastor Chris's home country of Nigeria, South Africa and Canada. The church has two healing schools that are located in South Africa.

A philanthropist who was passionate, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation International (COFI), a non-profit, non-governmental organization with the mission to help the most vulnerable people as well as communities in the most deprived regions and countries in the world.

The Man of God established NGOs to deliver vital services and bring hope to the poor, needy, and forgotten. The five partners of COFI share a common goal: to raise living standards and enhance the quality of life in poorest regions.

COFI is the responsible organization for the InnerCity Mission ICM for Children as well as the Volunteer Medical Corps VMC, Traumacare International Foundation TCIF, Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF) and along with the Bible For All Mission. Oyakhilome Each of these groups works to improve the lives and health of those who are most in need.

His charitable organization provides food and shelter for those in need. Pastor Chris believes in the development of strong communities by encouraging responsible governance and accountability in leadership. In accordance with The Sustainable Development Goals, Pastor Chris is also a proponent of sustainable development within Africa as well as other vulnerable parts of Africa through COFI.
