Pastor of faith, author, and faith healer and TV presenter Chris Oyakhilome (also called Pastor Chris) is the creator of LoveWorld Incorporated. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is a Nigerian Christian who was born in December 63 in Edo State. He was raised by his loving parents. He is the son of the elder of Elder T.E Oyakhilome. Angelina, one of the pioneers at the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City, as well as the matriarch of the Oyakhilome clan, who instilled her divine grace in her son very early.

The LoveWorld ministry involves the whole family. Reverend Ken is Ken's brother and an active member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his education at Edo College. Then he was granted a scholarship to study at Bendel State University, now Ambrose Ali University. There he earned an BSc. in Architecture and an honorary Doctor of Science. He is also awarded an honorary doctorate in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. He was at Ambrose Ali University when he received his call from God to be a priest and minister to the Lord.

The Man of God who was still in university, began what would become one the most influential churches in the world. A small group of prayer named Youth for Christ’ was established. It would grow into one of the largest and most popular organizations on campus. LoveWorld Incorporated would follow millions with the base of Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Incorporated.

Under the direction of Pastor Chris, LoveWorld became a pioneer of satellite television and Christian programming. Chris Oyakhilome LoveWorldSAT is the first Christian TV station that broadcasts from Africa all day, via free-to-air networks. In the present, LoveWorld stations can be found on satellite and cable television networks across the globe.

Christ Embassy has strong presences in Pastor Chris's home country of Nigeria as well as South Africa, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States. The church has two Healing Schools located in South Africa and Canada, in which Pastor Chris hosts sessions throughout the year where miraculous events are witnessed.

Music and Gospel Music are an important aspect of worship. Pastor Chris is adamant Christ Embassy Churches to have a choir trained by the Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry, and through the spirit and guidance of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome many of these musicians go on to pursue successful solo career.

The Man of God founded NGOs to offer vital services and bring hope for the poor, in need and uninformed. COFI has five partners that have all committed to improving living standards in some of the poorest areas.

COFI is responsible for the InnerCity Mission ICM for Children and the Volunteer Medical Corps VMC, Traumacare International Foundation TCIF, Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF), as well as the Bible For All Mission. Each of these organizations works to improve the health and well-being of the most vulnerable.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome The charity also provides food for children who are in need. Pastor Chris believes in building communities through COFI and The InnerCity Mission.
