Chris Oyakhilome Biography: The Man, The Mentor, The Teacher and The Philanthropist

Pastor, faith-healer, author and TV presenter Chris Oyakhilome (also called Pastor Chris) is the creator of LoveWorld Incorporated. The company, which is also called Christ Embassy is based out of Lagos, Nigeria. He has impressed millions of people around the world with his distinctive telling of God's Word.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, born on December 7 7 1963, in Edo State, Nigeria, grew up in a family that was a faith-based one, and was surrounded by loving and devoted parents. He is the son of Elder T.E Oyakhilome who was one of the founders of the Assemblies to God Church in Benin City. Angelina and the matriarch Oyakhilome were also his parents. Her divine grace was passed on to her son in the early years of his life.

The LoveWorld ministry is actively supported by the entire family. Reverend Ken is Ken's brother and is a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren (KattyWorghiren) is the director at the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry. The LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry houses a variety of gospel artists who are top-selling across the world.

Pastor Chris has two children, Carissa Sharon und Charlene. Carissa Sharon has decided to follow her father's example of sharing the Word of God with the world and is also called CSO She is an accomplished gospel artist, award-winning and a part of the LoveWorld Music and Arts family.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome received his education at Edo College. He then won a scholarship to study architecture at Bendel State University. He holds an honorary degree in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. It was Ambrose Ali University when he received a call from God to be a priest and serving the Lord.

While still at university, the Man of God established what would eventually be the largest congregation worldwide. It began as an uninvolved group of believers called 'Youth for Christ'. The group would eventually become the foundation for LoveWorld Incorporated and Christ Embassy, and eventually millions of followers worldwide.

The LoveWorld ministry was founded under the direction of Pastor Chris. It's a pioneer in satellite television, Christian TV production and programming. LoveWorldSAT was the first Christian television station that broadcast from Africa to the rest of the world, 24 hours a day, continuously on free-to air networks. Today, LoveWorld television stations are available on satellite and cable networks around the world.

Chris Oyakhilome Christ Embassy is present in Pastor Chris's homeland of Nigeria and South Africa. It also has strong representation across the United Kingdom, Canada, United States, and South Africa. Two Healing Schools are located in South Africa and Canada. There, Pastor Chris organizes seasonal sessions which allow miraculous healing to occur.

Music and Gospel Music are an important element of the worship. Pastor Chris encourages Christ Embassy Churches and Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry trained choirs. Many of these singers go on to be successful solo artists through Pastor Chris Oyakhilome's guidance and spirit.

The Future African Leaders Foundation is focused on advancing the work of Pastor Chris. It's designed to develop and rewarding young leaders and training them to be successful in the years to come. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, a passionate philanthropist founded the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation Inter (COFI) as an non-profit, non-governmental organization that aims to assist communities in need and those living in the most deprived parts of the world.

The Man of God founded NGOs to offer vital services and bring hope for the poor, in need and uninformed. COFI has five partners who have all committed to improving the standard of living in the most underdeveloped areas.

The InnerCity Mission for Children The InnerCity Mission for Children, the Volunteer Medical Corps(VMC), Traga Care International Foundation [TCIFthe Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF), and Bible For All Mission are all under COFI. Bible For All Mission, the Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF), and COFI umbrella. Each of these organisations works to improve the lives of people as well as their health, spirits and overall wellbeing.

His charity also provides support for children who are in need.
