Pastor of faith, author, and faith healer, and television presenter Chris Oyakhilome (also called Pastor Chris) is the creator of LoveWorld Incorporated. The company, also known as Christ Embassy is located in Lagos, Nigeria. His unique interpretation of God's Word has enthralled millions across the world.

Chris: The Pastor Chris"The" Man
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, born on 7 December th, 1963, in Edo State, Nigeria, was raised in a household of faith, supported by his loving and dedicated parents. He was the oldest of four children of the elder T.E Oyakhilome, one of the first pioneers of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City, and Angelina, and the matriarch of the Oyakhilome family, who imprinted her faith in God's grace upon her son from an early age.

Chris Oyakhilome Biography The LoveWorld ministry is comprised of all members of the family. His brother, Reverend Ken is the renowned pastor of Christ Embassy's Houston, Texas Church and an active member of Christ Embassy Central Executive Council and his sister, KattyWorghiren, is the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry (LMAM), which is home to several world-class gospel artists.

Pastor Chris has two daughters: Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon has decided to follow her father's example of sharing the Word of God with the world, also known as CSO, she is a talented gospel artist, award-winning and a part of the LoveWorld Music and Arts family.


Pastor Chris Oyakhilome studied at Edo College before winning a scholarship to pursue a degree in architecture at Bendel State University, known today as Ambrose Ali University, where he obtained a BSc in Architecture and an honorary Doctor of Science award. He holds an honorary divinity degree from Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was his first university. He received his calling from God to be a minister and serve the Lord.

The Man of God, while still a student at university started what would eventually become one of the most significant church in the world. A small prayer group named Youth for Christ’ was formed. It would grow into one of the largest and most popular groups on campus. LoveWorld Incorporated would follow millions through the founding of Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Incorporated.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Under Pastor Chris's leadership, LoveWorld became a pioneer of satellite television and Christian programming. LOVEWORLDSAT was first Christian television station broadcasting from Africa throughout the day on free-to air channels. In the present, LoveWorld stations can be found on satellite and cable TV networks around the world.

Christ Embassy has strong presences in Pastor Chris's home country of Nigeria in addition to South Africa, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States. Two Healing Schools are located in South Africa and Canada. There Pastor Chris hosts special sessions throughout the year which allow the manifestation of miracles.

Chris Oyakhilome Family Music and Gospel Music play an integral part to worship. Pastor Chris is a strong advocate for gospel music. Christ Embassy Churches have a choir that is supervised and trained by the Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry. A lot of the performers have had successful solo careers.

The Future African Leaders Foundation, (FALF), is a non-profit organization that aims to continue the work of Pastor Chris. Its purpose is to recognize and support the extraordinary achievements of young, talented leaders. Pastor Chris invests in the youth today, to prepare them to be the leaders of tomorrow.

The Man of God established NGOs to deliver essential services and provide hope for the poor, in need and uninformed. COFI is supported by five partners, each of whom is dedicated to improving the standard of living in the most remote regions.

COFI is accountable for the InnerCity Mission ICM for Children and the Volunteer Medical Corps VMC, Traumacare International Foundation TCIF, Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF) as well as the Bible For All Mission. Each of these organizations works to improve the lives of people and health, well-being and well-being.
